Hi there and thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog. My name is Liz and I created this blog to share my love of plant-based nutrition and cooking. I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years. I have also had Celiac disease and PCOS for over ten years so I’ve had to get very creative with with I eat and how I nourish myself. Over the years after tons of trial and error I’ve found that following a plant-based diet has been the most successful in helping me maintain and improve my overall well-being. Every recipe on this site is vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, corn-free, peanut-free and many are grain-free.
I have a background as a Certified herbalist, certified health coach, certified sound practitioner and certified pilates instructor. I used to own a wellness studio called “Anatomy Redefined” in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood focused on sound healing and pilates. Every once in a while I like to throw out some information on my other areas of study that have been super helpful in my personal wellness journey and might be helpful for you. But, for the most part, this site is dedicated to tasty, yummy, delicious recipes!
